PURPOSE:To enhance photosensitivity, electrostatic chargeability characteristics, and durability irrespective of dispersibility of a charge generating material into a resin by forming a charge generating layer and a charge transfer layer each specified in composition each to a specified thickness. CONSTITUTION:The charge transfer layer 4 having a film thickness of 0.1-6mum containing the resin and a charge transfer material 2, such as hydrazones, and the charge generating layer 5 having a film thickness of 5-25mum containing the resin, transfer material 2 and the charge generating material 3, such as azo-pigment, are successively laminated on a conductive substrate 1, thus permitting the obtained photosensitive body to be hardly affected by the dispersibility of the charge generating material 3 into the layer 5, to be relieved from operations required for the dispersion, and enhanced in photosensitivity, chargeability characteristics, and durability. |
