PURPOSE:To simply obtain the subpower source output having twice the voltage of the main source output by a method wherein the serial circuit of a capacitor and a diode is connected between the first and the second terminals of the rectifying circuit to be used for a diode and bridge. CONSTITUTION:The bridge consisting of diodes D7-D12 is connected in between the secondary side terminals 11 and 12 of a transformer 10, and the main power source output is obtained from output terminals 13 and 14. Also, the capacitor C6 and the diode D12 are connected in series between the terminals 11 and 12. Accordingly, the capacitor C6 is charged by the diode D12 which has been conducted at a half cycle of AC input, the capacitor C7 is charged at an inverted half cycle by almost double voltage of the above through the intermediary of the capacitor C6, the diode D11 and the diode D8, and the subpower source output of double voltage can be obtained at a low cost without using a transistor with an intermediate tap. |
