Growing plants in containers with cow manure as fertiliser - using dried cow manure in tablet form

Method of growing plants comprises placing one or more tablets of dried cow manure in a container, filling the container with soil, inserting a seed, seedling or cutting into the soil, and watering as required. Also claimed is the prodn. of tablets of dried cow manure by pressing predried cow manure to form a solid stick, and dividing the stick into tablets. The method is stated to avoid problems associated with adding dried cow manure to the soil before or after placing the soil in the container (problems of odour, flies, metering inaccuracy, etc.).
