Semi-hard material having good magnetic properties. It is produced by repeated alternate heating and cooling of an alloy at temp. lower than Curie temp., the heating temp. during each stage never being below the heating temp. of preceding heating stage. Alloy contains in wt. 5 to 15% manganese, 0.2 to 5% copper, 0.1 to 7% titanium, balance being iron. |
