PURPOSE:To prevent the leading end face of a near parabolic optical transmission body from being stained by a fume-like toner by providing a shutter which shuts off the near parabolic optical transmission body and the space around a photosensitive drum in the part of said optical transmission body opposite to said drum. CONSTITUTION:A near parabolic optical transmission body 1 is provided opposite to a photoreceptor 2, so that the image of an original moved by a moving platen device 15 is irradiated through the body 1 onto the drum 2. A shutter 6 shutting off the body 1 and the space around the drum 2 is provided freely openably and closably to the part of the above-mentioned body 1 opposite to the drum 2. The shutter 6 is connected to an actuator in synchronization with the moving platen device. Thus, the shutter 6 is made open only during exposure and in the other state, it is held closed so that the sticking of the toner floating in the surrounding space on the body 1 is prevented. |
