PURPOSE:To provide the impulse jet recorder, excellent in high quality recording and applicable for both of analog and digital uses, by arranging a couple of specified ink liquid chambers, being in parallel with a common ink-injecting passage. CONSTITUTION:A couple of ink liquid chambers, whose dependency of the minimum voltages, to be charged on electrostrictive vibrators necessary for injection of ink drops through an injection passage, on drive frequency (the characteristic of a threshold voltage against frequency) are symmetric together, are located in parallel with each other. That is, an ink liquid chamber 3a provided with a flat side wall and whose threshold voltage characteristic to frequency is represented by A and another ink liquid chamber 3b provided with a rhombic side wall and whose threshold voltage characteristic to frequency is represented by B are arranged between an ink flow passage 5 and an injection passage 2, to form an ink head (marks 4a, 4b are fluid diodes, and marks 7a, 7b are electrostrictive vibrators). Consequently, the combined voltage characterstic in the ink liquid chambers constructed in said way is nearly flat (C) so that high quality typeprinting can be performed. |
