PURPOSE:To improve the reliability of a facsimile receiver by detecting the relative humidity around recording paper, and controlling the voltage to be applied to a control electrode or multistylus electrode in accordance with the change thereof. CONSTITUTION:The relative humidity of the atmosphere around recording paper PA is detected by a mumidity detector S, and the output voltage of a control electrode drive DH is controlled in correspondence to the moisture content of the paper PA by the output signal thereof, and the output signal thereof is applied to a recording head H of a facsimile. The image signal inputted to a terminal P is supplied through a multistylus electrode driver DP to a recording head H. Thereby, the reliability of the facsimile receiver is improved. |
