PURPOSE:To obtain excellent deep drawability, by heating a steel containing specified quantities of C, Si, Mn, S, Al and N and having a specified ratio or more of Mn/S to a specified temperature or above, subjecting it to hot finishing rolling at a temperature of Ar3 point or above, winding it at a specified temperature range to be subjected to cold rolling and annealing. CONSTITUTION:The steel containing more than 0.08% by weight of C, more than 0.08% by weight of Si, 0.05-0.35% by weight of Mn, more than 0.035% of S, 0.01- 0.12 of Al, 0.002-0.015 of N, and balance of Fe and impurities and having the Mn/S ratio of 5 or more is heated to a temperature 1,100 deg.C or above, and is subjected to hot finishing rolling at a temperature of Ar3 point or above. Then it is wound at a temperature in the range of 300-500 deg.C into a steel band to be cold rolled and annealed in a usual manner. |
