PURPOSE:To obtain a small-sized and light weight element capable of reducing the consumption of electric power with a simple construction and constitution, by using a porcelain substrate forming an electrode used platinum plaze. CONSTITUTION:Paste mixed a glass component and an organic binder with platinum is applied on the surface of heat-resisting porcelain substrate by using a printing method and baked to form electrodes on the upper and lower faces of the substrate. Two substrates 1 cut in prescribed dimensions are prepared and a nichrome wire 5 is stuck to one ends 4, 4' of the electrodes of the substrate and also, the wire 5 stuck to the same part of the other substrate and then, these are connected electrically. The wire 5 is heater for heating and voltage is applied by the electrodes 4, 4'. Electric power given between the electrodes is consumed nearly on the nichrome wire used as the heater because of being the electrodes 4, 4' a platinum glazed resistance body. Connecting part of the substrate is then melt-stuck by a glass 6. Lastly, sensible substance for combustible gas is applied in pasty state to form a gas sensitive membrane 7 and then, resistance variation of a gas sensitive part is taken to the outside by electrodes 8, 8'. |
