Plasma cutting machine - with coolant on exit side of plasma beam carrying away fumes

A thermal cutting machine for plates, esp. for plasma cutting, is equipped with a moving work table which is fitted with a cooling device for the under side of the workpiece in line with the centre of the plasma gun on the top side. The plasma beam enters the cooling device when it leaves the workpiece, in the central one of two concentric tubes which receive the coolant fluid through the annulus between them. This removes effectively all fumes, dust, heat and combustion residue, thereby preventing the pollution of the working space.
