PURPOSE:To turn carbon monoxide in the air harmless efficiently and remove dust efficiently when there is no carbon monoxide in the air by providing an air flow regulating means for regulating blast volume by a blasting means in accordance with the existence of sensing signals of a sensor for sensing carbon monoxide. CONSTITUTION:When a sensor for sensing carbon monoxide senses carbon monoxide in the air, the contact point of a relay 15 is reversed basing on said sensing signals, and a rectification pressure reducing circuit 17 is connected with a motor 2 through resistance 16, regardless of whether a main switch 11 of an air cleaner is switched on or off, and of the setting condition of a switch 13 for switching air flow rate. Because of the voltage drop by said resistance 16, the motor 2 is rotated at a lower rotation ratio than in the case where the switch 13 for switching air flow is turned for a small air flow, thereby the blasting volume of blasting means is made smaller, suitably for oxidization of carbon monoxide to oxidize the carbon monoxide efficiently. When carbon monoxide is depleted, the contact point of the relay 15 is reversed to restore to the original condition, and the blasting volume is set adequately for removing dust and deodorization by the switch 13. |
