PURPOSE:To suppress the effect which is given to the time to adjust the operation of a relay, by performing a decision process of occurrence of a fault with the interruption given at each prescribed period of time for the protective relaying function which requires high accuracy of the operation time. CONSTITUTION:The sequential of detection signals for each function and the necessary operation are performed by a sequence process 6. In such process 6, an interruption is given at each prescribed time T1. With this interruption, the presence or a absence of a fault is decided from the result of detection/operation at the present time point. When a fault arises, a decision process 7 is applied to start a time limit part. Then the program is reset to the area of interruption. This deciding process is carried out only for the protective relaying function that requires high time accuracy for the time limit adjustment. Accordingly, the relay operation time T is set as T=Tt+T1 (Tt: adjustment time of time limit part) by the timing of occurrence of fault to eliminate the effect of the scan time. |
