Springing device 1 for a vehicle with a wheel axle 15 carried by a chassis 30, said axle being connected with one end 11 of a pair of swinging arms 12, the other end 13 of which is swingably connected with a swinging joint 14 arranged at the chassis 30 of the vehicle. Said first end 11 of the swinging arm 12 is rigidly connected with one end 5b of a springing element 2. The invention consists in that one end of each swinging arm 12 has a seat 11, which is sloping in the longitudinal direction of the chassis, for one end 5b of the springing element 2, that a suspension arm 20 extends along and at a distance from the swinging arm 12, whereby one end 25 of the suspension arm 20 has a seat sloping in the longitudinal direction of the chassis, for the other end 5a of the springing element 2. The other end 21 of the suspension arm 20 is arranged swingably around the swinging joint 14 on the chassis 30, whereby the slope of the seats 10, 11 are generally equal. The springing element 2 is arranged between said seats, while means 26, 27, 28, 29; 36, 43; 44 are arranged at said one end 10, 36 of the suspension arm 20 for transmitting mainly vertical forces to the chassis.
