PURPOSE:To improve a differential linearity error, and to realize an A/D converter having high precision by arranging one parts of other reference resistors connected at both ends of a reference resistor into a quadrilateral region including the reference resistor and having a minimum area. CONSTITUTION:A reference resistance row 1 and wirings 1A, 1B, 1C, 1D are formed by patterning an aluminum film applied onto the same substrate. When a reference resistor R2 (an oblique line section) between the wiring 1B and the wiring 1C is noticed at that time, a reference resistor R1 and one part of a reference resistor R3 are included and disposed into a quadrilateral region S containing the reference resistor R2. Accordingly, a resistance relative ratio can be improved only by changing the shapes of the reference resistors, thus resulting in an available semiconductor device as the reference resistors for a high-precision A/D converter. |
