1. Device for the placing of traffic signs ; characterized by the following combination of features ; a) a holding post consisting of a holding pipe (4) having a point (1) at one end and a quadrangular holding section (6) provided with fixation holes (5) at the other end ; a striker pallet (3) being disposed on top of the point (1), said pallet having stabilizing angular flanges (2) in the shape of wings ; b) one extension piece at least, consisting of an extension pipe (9) having a silp-on sectional piece (8) at one end, and a socket section (10) at its other end ; both sections being traversed by drill holes (7) ; the socket section (10) being of dimensions identical with those of the holding section (6) of the holding post ; and the slip-on section (8) fitting exactly over the holding section (6) as well as over the socket section (10), and where the extension pipe (9) is of lesser width than either the holding section (6) or the socket section (10) ; c) a driving unit consisting of a pipe (11) having at its upper end a plate (13), said pipe being surrounded by - and attached to - a mechanism (12) provided with handles (14) ; the pipe (11) fitting on top of holding section (6) and having a length greater than the distance between the striker pallet (3) and the exterior end of the holding section (6) at the holding post. |
