PURPOSE:To generate a dazzle preventing effect optically by attaching a piezoelectric transparent porcelain film, both sides of which are equipped with transparent electrodes, between a transparent galss and a light reflecting film arranged on the back of the transparent glass and applying voltage to the film to change the reflecting factor of light. CONSTITUTION:A transparent electrode 2, a piezoelectric transparent porcelain film 1 and the transparent electrode 2 are formed on the back of a transparent glass plate 4 by vapor-depositing successively and light scattering effect is generated by applying voltage to this apparatus to reduce the transmission factor of light. When the apparatus is used as a reflecting mirror for an automobile, the reflecting factor of strong incident rays is reduced, so that a dazzle preventing effect is generated and it is unnecessary to change the reflecting direction of incident rays because of the dazzle preventing effect. |
