PURPOSE:To prevent the deterioration of insulation resistance of the subject rotor by a method wherein a ventilating groove is provided on the spacer to be interposed between the end sections of the rotor winding in such a manner that it is diagonally intersecting with the side face of a winding on the surface opposing to a rotor winding and the deformation of the rotor winding is prevented by securely pressing the side face of the rotor winding. CONSTITUTION:When the spacer 4, having a ventilating groove 14, is interposed in the gap of the end section of the rotor winding, the outer circumference of which is covered by a retaining ring 6, the ventilating groove is formed in such a manner that it is diagonally intersecting with the side face of the rotor winding 3. Through these procedures, the side face of the rotor winding 3 can be pressed almost uniformly by the spacer 4, the cooling air can be flowed smoothly and the adhesion of dust on the rotor winding can be prevented, thereby enabling to prevent the deterioration of insulation resistance. |
