PURPOSE:To obtain a powder molding device enabled to perform expertly wet molding by disposing a liquid absorbent spacer on an end face of lower punch. CONSTITUTION:An apparatus has a metalic mold 2 having a pressing room 1 and an upper punch 3 and a lower punch 4 which respectively come in and out to this mold 2 through upper or lower directions. At the end face of said punch 4, a liquid absorbent spacer 5, which is composed of a porous sintered allowy etc. having counterless fine open-cell foams 6 in the inside, are disposed. Then, by filling up a raw material powder of rare-earth magnet wetted with a liquid such as alcohol and by pressing with the upper and lower punches 3, 4 while applying magnetic field for a pointing arrow direction by means of an electromagnet not shown, liquid contd. in the raw materials is absorbed into the spacer 5, and therefore high quality molding materials, which have no voids in the surfaces or in the inside, are obtained. |
