PURPOSE:To obtain an electrophotographic receptor low in remaining potential and good in sensitivity, by using a specified hydrazone compound as a charge transfer material. CONSTITUTION:The hydrazone compound to be used as a charge transfer material is represented by the formulaIin which R1 is 1-5C alkyl or aralkyl, and R2, R3 are 1-5C alkyl, aralkyl, or aryl, but they are not both alkyl. The desired electrophotographic receptor is obtained by forming a charge generating layer containing a charge generating material, such as selenium or a disazo pigment on a conductive substrate, such as an aluminum plate, and further on this layer, coating said hydrazone compound together with a binder to form a 5-30 micrometer thick charge transfer layer. |
