<p>An electromagnetic valve for a washing machine is mounted on a resilient plate of, e.g, moulded plastic material, having on the reverse side split, mushroom-headed pegs by which the assembly is attached to holes in the machine frame simply by pressing into position. The sides of the plate are angled rearwards so that they press resiliently against the frame to hold the assembly firmly in position. This construction makes screws unnecessary and enables the valve to be mounted extremely quickly, without any tools.</p> |
