Two-way information exchange between fixed and mobile assemblies - using physically and electrically isolated static transfer loop and magnetic induction information transfer

The system uses a static loop as a transmission route in the form of an electric cable with a number of wires arranged as a multi-spire loop. The loop is not connected to any electric or magnetic source and is not in direct physical or electrical contact with either of the fixed or mobile assemblies. The information may be transmitted in series or parallel form with parallel form information being converted to series form with control bits added each corresponding to a discrete frequency. Transmission from fixed to mobile points and vice versa, correspond to respective different fixed frequency groups. 'Writing' and 'reading' of information in the loop is effected by magnetic induction.
