<p>The fixed direction wind turbine derives its motive force from a wind with a maximum intensity in a known direction. The turbine has a vertical axis, in a cowling open at the rear and with an intake scoop. The scoop has a frusto-conical pyramidal section with its larger end away from the turbine. The intake can have a flow control flap and the turbines can be connected on the intake side. The flow control can be actuated automatically via an anemometer.</p> |
