PURPOSE:To prevent flickering of an indication even if a fine change in a speed is caused, by shifting a switching level of contents of an indication depending on a speed accelerating time and a speed decelerating time. CONSTITUTION:In a counter 3, a clock from a clock generator 4 samples an output of a vehicle speed sensor 1 whose wave form is shaped 2. The sampling output is stored 11 via an operation circuit 10. The operation circuit 10 is caused to provide with a hysteresis characteristic depending on a speed-accelerating time and a speed decelerating time using a sampling indication signal from the counter 3 to output a speed indication signal. The speed indication signal so determined is held in a latch circuit 5 to be indicated 8 via a decoder 6 and a driver 7. |
