<p>A linear motor comprises a stator made of two equi-distant ferromagnetic strips (1) and (2) provided with intermittent protrusions (3) and recesses (4) of a length equal to the pole pitch i of the motor. A movable core (5) is placed between the strips (1) and (2). The protrusions of the strip (1) are shifted in relation to the protrusions on the strip (2) by i. The exciting winding (8) is placed in the middle part of the core (5) characterized by a low magnetic permeability. The armature winding (9) is placed on the extreme parts of the core (5) with a high magnetic permeability, symmetrically to the winding (8). The two coil groups of the winding (9) have equal number of sections and are electrically connected in a switching device (10). </p> |
