PURPOSE:To control effectively water pressure variation in the system of water channels of a hydraulic power plant, by providing a dynamo with an energy accumulating flywheel and gradually closing the water supply regulator of a water turbine to drive the dynamo. CONSTITUTION:When a circuit breaker B0 is tripped with some trouble in the channel L, generator-motors GM1 and GM2 are released from a common bus bar L0 by tripping of circuit breakers B1 and B2, and at the same time pump turbines PT1 and PT2 are stopped by emergency. A generator-motor GM3 is connected to the bus bar L0 with a breaker B3 thrown in, and circuit breakers B5 and B6 and a switch D4 are thrown in with tripping of the circuit breaker B0. To the main circuit in the generator-motor GM3 a frequency converting device C and a generator-motor GM4 are connected to start and accelerate the flywheel FW4 and a generator-motor GM4. Accordingly pressurized water is supplied to a turbine PT3, but the output of the generator-motor GM3 is stored as rotational energy in a flywell FW4. Under the conditions input into the turbine PT3 is gradually decreased by a water supply regulator. When the input reaches a specified value or after a specified period of time has elapsed, the circuit breaker B3 is tripped to release the generator-motor GM3 from the bus bar L0. |
