The invention relates to a chart for recording devices, preferably for tachographs. The aim of the invention is to provide a chart which eliminates the disadvantage of known embodiments and can be used irrespective of the different chart holders of the respective device type. According to the invention, the object is achieved in that, beginning at the edge of a central hole of a chart, there is a perforation which has one or more identical or different curve shapes. The invention can be used for tachographs in motor vehicles and machine recorders on machines irrespective of the different chart holders of the respective device types. <IMAGE>
