[Class 106 (i).] Totals, printing; adding and subtracting.- A calculating, accounting, or tabulating machine having a counter (A or B) ancillary to a normal counter (4 or 5) for receiving totals from the latter, and means which distinguish between different kinds of totals on the normal counter and which are operable on a predetermined machine operation (e.g. minor total printing) to actuate the ancillary counter to receive the total from the normal counter only if the total is of a particular kind. Means are also provided whereby the total is printed only if it is transmitted to the ancillary counter. The Figures and description of the present application are the same as Figures 1, 7a, 7b, 7c, 7d, 8, 9, 10 and corresponding description of Specification 399,873, but the claims differ.
