PURPOSE:To prevent an occurrence of erroneous operation of a quasi defective loop when starting or stopping the operation by setting the start-stop direction of the revolving magnetic field to the direction which is at right angles to the transfer direction of a magnetic bubble of a minor loop. CONSTITUTION:The start-stop direction of a revolving magnetic field is set (direction of +x) which is right angles to the transfer direcion (direction of y and p) of magnetic bubbles of minor loops. At a time t1 which is just before the revolving magnetic field is stopped, the magnetic bubble is at the location B. Namely, because of a defect (d) (quasi defect) of the minor loop, the magnetic bubble stops on patterns 10 and 11. When the revolving magnetic field is turned off at a time t2, the magnetic bubble stops at B1 or B2. When the revolving magnetic field is again turned on at a time t4, the magnetic bubble becomes the same condition as at the time t1 and is at the location B, and is transferred normally. In this way, occurrence of erroneous operations of quasi defective loops at the time of starting and stopping operations are prevented. |
