PURPOSE:To prevent the false ignition of the thyristor due to the floating capacity of transformer winding by mounting a shielding conductor, which adjoins to the output winding of a pulse transformer and is connected to one terminal of output winding, to the pulse transformer. CONSTITUTION:When the thyristors 13, 16 of a chopper device controlling a motor, etc. for an electric vehicle are controlled by using the pulse transformer 1 with controlling winding 2, reset winding 3 and output winding 4, 5, the pulse transformer 1 is formed in such a manner that the shielding conductors 26, 27 are mounted at the inside and the outside of the output winding 4, 5 wound on an annular core 31, and the conductors are each connected to one terminals of the output winding 4, 5 and the cathode sides of the thyristors 13, 16. Accordingly, since discharge currents by the floating capacity existing among each winding 2-5 of the pulse transformer 1 and ground can be flowed to the cathode sides of the thyristors 13, 16, noises do not enter, and the thyristors can stably be controlled. |
