The appts. can verify audibly and/or visually that the patient completely performs the requested movement. A sensor in the form of a strip with three piezo-resistive rubber pads is fitted between two copper covered plastics sheets and maintained using felt. The sensor is connected to a controller-display. This contains a galvanometer, a series of four LED's, a potentiometer and an acoustic source. The sensor is placed between the patient and a hard surface. The LED's are lit as the movement is done, the fourth diode is thus lit when the movement is completed. The sound source can indicate if the movement is complete or conversely, if it is not complete.
