A free standing clothes drier rack - having a loose hooked bridge to stabilise two intersecting ladder profiles

A clothes drier made from a pair of ladder structures which intersect and pivot at an intermediate level are provided with a loose crosspiece comprising a short rack with hooked ends to engage the rails of the main ladder. The rack fixes and controls the splay of the 'X' profile of the drier when free standing. Pref. the main pivot is provided by crossover welding of two rails between the uprights of alternative ladders.
