The fastening, esp. for wrist-watch straps and other arm-straps, consists of several interlocking parts. One of the interlocking parts is in the form of a C-shaped push-piece (2) which is pushed on the second catch-piece at right angles to the plane (A) of the fastening. A catch, in the form of a tongue (5) with a cut-out flap (6) fits into a parallel opening (8) on the push-piece (2); when pressed, the catch is released.
