PURPOSE:To separate, extract and process only an necessary reflected pulse signal securely, to simplify constitution and to maintain a high-precision detecting function for a long period by providing a main temperature-sensitive sensor with an auxiliary temperature-sensitive sensor successively. CONSTITUTION:On a surface P whose temperature is monitored, temperature- sensitive sensors 21a and 21b are provided closely in parallel; and a magnetic material having a curie temperature nearly equal to the abnormal set temperature of the surface P is interposed between the conductors of the sensor 21a, and another magnetic material having a higher curie temperature between those of the sensor 21b. Each time the control part 24 for a switching device 22 change in operation mode, generators 27a and 27b output pulses simultaneously a certain time later. Each pulse is inputted to a position ranging device 32 through a time difference detector 31 and in response to an operation mode signal from the control part 24, the application direction of the pulse signal (X1 and X2, or Y1 and Y2) is discriminate to find a position. |
