PURPOSE:To avoid the deterioration of cooling-down property of a cooler which accumulates the low temperature of an evaporator and to increase the accumulation capacity of the cooler, by providing a heat exchanger for a heat accumulating fluid, in a passage for by-passing the evaporator. CONSTITUTION:When a cooler switch is on and the temperature tE of an evaporator 2 is not lower than 4 deg.C, the evaporator is cooled and cool air and warm air from a blower 5 are mingled together at an air mix gate 9. When the temperature tE is becomes 4 deg.C or less and the temperature of a vehicle room is 25 deg.C or less, a temperature sensor 20 applies a detection signal to a logical circuit to operate an actuator 15 to open a gate 13 and an auxiliary blower 14 is reversed to conduct cool air to a heat accumulator 16 to transfer the low temperature of the cool air to the accumulator 16. After the transfer, the cool air is returned to an upstream point. When the temperature tm of the heat accumulator 16 has become lower than that tE of the evaporator 2, the auxiliary blower 14 is rotated forward again. |
