Roof rack support for sailboard - has two longitudinal struts clamped to roof rack cross members and extending over length of board

The two longitudinal support struts (12) have their upper faces shaped to fit the sailboard contour and are clamped to the cross members by straps, or by their side flanges, being an open U-profile. The front and rear ends of the sailboard are securely held on the struts to prevent fluttering in the slipstream. The sailboard is further secured on the frame by elastic loops (30) over the board. The cross members are braced on the roof by angled struts (18). The mast (48) is secured under the frame by circular clamps (42) under the cross members.
