<p>The data transmission system consists of a subscriber network using pulse code modulation and delta modulation. The subscriber associated with one network is linked to a subscriber associated with another network via a single channel using interface equipment. The interface equipment consists of a selector signal converter, a code converter and signal converter. The subscriber stations (TN11,TN12) of the first network (1) are equipped with an encoder providing synchronism of quasi synchronism with the second network. The subscriber stations (TN21,TN22) of the second network (2) has delta modulation equipment in addition to pulse modulation equipment. The interface equipment (US) is equipped with a digital connecting through extension (DD) in addition to the signal converter (SU).</p> |
