Curtain pelmet box with easy hanging and removal of curtains - has roller blind type bar and draw cord to lower track

The roller bar (7) is similar to that used in roller blinds and is rotatably mounted in a box (1) alongside a cover strip (2). The curtain rod (5) is attached to the roller bar (7) by short straps (8) while a draw cord (9) for turning the roller and raising and lowering the curtain rod (5) is attached to one end of the bar (7). It is now easily possible to hang up and remove the curtains whilst remaining on floor level merely by lowering the curtain track. The cover strip (2) along the front of the fitment can be decorative to act as a pelmet face.
