PURPOSE:To eliminate viscosity variations by aging and make uniform the thickness of a prepared coat and diameter of fiber by adding an organic ammonium salt to the hydrolysate sol and/or gel of alkoxyde as a stabilizer. CONSTITUTION:In a stage in which a hydrolysis product of alkoxyde shows a predetermined increase in viscosity, an organic ammonium salt is added to restrict following polymerization. Consequently, hydrolysate sol and/or gel which indicate stable viscosity in accordance with their application are prepared. As an alternative method, a predetermined amount of an organic ammonium salt is added to alkoxyde in advance, and later organic ammonium salt is caused to act on hydrolysate sol and/or gel produced by hydrolysis to restrict the polymerization. Preferable organic ammonium salt is tetraalkylammonium halide. |
