<p>The mechanism is intended for moving tubes (2,2',3) or other bar stock and comprises downwards sloping supports (6), along which the tubes roll to a stop (45) at the lower end. At least one further stop element (17) along the sloping track (6) to hold tubes as they arrive and release them with a delay. The stop element is provided on a carriage (8) which is movable relative to the roll-down slope. There may be a number of such carriages laterally spaced and movable in parallel and in mutual alignment. Each stop element may be part of a two-arm lever (19) carrying a stop roller (21) at its upstream and, which is pressed down by an oncoming tube to lift the stop element into its active position.</p> |
