<p>PURPOSE:To easily preform the switching between the built-in camera signal and the external input signal with the operation of an external device, by providing a signal switching means that performs the selection by the external control signal. CONSTITUTION:A picture recording camera 11 having an external input terminal 17 possesses an external control terminal 15 to control a signal switching circuit 14 that switches the signal to be recorded at a VTR part 12 between the signal of a built-in video camera 13 and an external input signal 18. Thus the signal to be recorded can be freely switched by an external device 20. The device 20 has an input terminal 21 with switch, and an external control signal 16 is not driven as long as no external signal is supplied to the device 20. When the external signal is supplied, the switch of the terminal 21 works mechanically. Then the signal 16 is driven by a power source +B. The switch can be replaced with a signal detecting circuit.</p> |
