The insulating-glass pane comprises two glass sheets (1, 2), between which there are arranged two spacer tubes (3a, 3b) which are each connected to form a frame. Between these two tubes there is arranged a heat-insulating and sound-insulating bar (4) which, at its four corners, has lugs (5) for receiving the tubes (3a, 3b). First of all, the first spacer tube is laid on the first glass sheet, followed by the insulating bar and then the second spacer tube, and all the parts are pressed in an adhesively bonding and sealing manner. Finally, a sealing composition is applied around the edge. These measures result in the insulating effect of the pane being increased. <IMAGE>
