The smoking pipe comprises an interchangeable cartridge which is housed removably in the hollow (2) of the bowl (1); this cartridge comprises a heat-resistant jacket (5) and a hearth (11) made of a refractory material designed to hold the tobacco, its bottom being pierced by an axial duct (13). The interchangeable cartridge is locked into the use position in the bowl of the pipe by a tubular nose (23) on the front end of a hollow stem (21) to which the mouthpiece (22) of the pipe is detachably fitted, which nose interacts with a radial orifice formed in the heat-resistant jacket. <IMAGE>
