PURPOSE:To facilitate the manufacture of an wound core without deteriorating magnetic characteristics thereof, by a method wherein a pair of steel plates of the rectangular wound core being respective layer belts formed in -shape having long one side respectively are made to come in contact with each other from the upper and lower parts to form a rectangle. CONSTITUTION:The silicon steel belt is cut to prepare the steel plates 12-1-12-n for the steel plates of respective layers of the core. At this time, length of the steel belt 12-1 is made as the half of deployed length of the inmost layer of the core, length of the steel plates of the respective layers are made as a little longer in order, and length of the steel belt 12-n is made as the half of the deployed length of the outmost layer of the core. Every sheet of two pairs of the cut steel belts 12-1-12-n thereof is processed with a molding device 101 to be bent to form -shape having long one side. Those are accumulated on an annealing tray 22, a pad 23 for prevention of deformation is inserted, and an weight plate 24 is put thereon and is annealed. After then the plates are inserted on a winding from the upper and lower parts according to the order of layers, the end parts thereof are made to come in contact with each other to be wound on the outside of the winding. Accordingly undesirable strength is not applied on the steel plate when the plate is to be assembled to the winding, magnetic characteristics thereof are not detriorated, manufacture is facilitated and mass production is enabled. |
