PURPOSE:To eliminate the influence of an air bubble, by a method wherein an air bubble collecting part is provided in such a manner that the part is always located above the front and back of the specified position of a liquid duct in which the liquid discharged by one discharge operation is contained. CONSTITUTION:On the end side ahead of two points of a liquid duct 21, an air bubble collecting part 16 is formed in such a way that the part is always maintained higher than the front and back of the above position. The air bubble collecting parts 16, 16' are formed with heated connecting tubes 5, 5' so that the parts are convex. In addition, thses parts are molded to contain the minimum volume of the liquid within the length discharged by one operation from nozzles 3, 3' for separately directing the liquid. The air bubble generated in the collection parts 16, 16' is discharged together with a sample and a reagent each time the bubble has been generated within one operation. By so doing, the air bubble is discharged before its amount generated in the piping system becomes large. For this, the possibility of errors in measurement for analysis is eliminated. |
