<p>PURPOSE:To keep enough and accurate the clearance between an electromagnetic coil and a pulley and prevent interference between them, by supporting the electromagnetic coil with a bearing on a driving shaft. CONSTITUTION:An electromagnetic coil 10 is supported with a bearing 20 so that coil can be rotated relative to an accessory shaft 3. A bracket 21 coupled to the coil 10 is secured on the front cover 14 of an engine. According to this constitution, the coil 10 and a pulley 6 can be assembled with each other around the accessory shaft 3 without being affected by the accuracy of mounting of the bracket 21 or the like. For that reason, the clearance between the coil 10 and the pulley 6 can be easily adjusted and interference between them is avoided. Since the weight of the coil 10 is carried by the accessory shaft 3 through the bearing 20, the thickness of the bracket 21 may be small. This results in reducing the total weight.</p> |
