Ventilated handle for tennis racquet - has transverse passages extending from surface to inner reinforcing tube

The handle (1) of the tennis racquet has a tubular reinforcing element (2) in a tube which extends longitudinally to its free end. A number of transversal passages (4) extend from the grooved surface of the handle to the inner tube. A protective cap (8) is fitted to the free end and has a central opening in its end aligned with the longitudinal tube. At the extreme edge of the handle the transversal passages (4') communicate with holes (14) in the lateral walls of the cap. The transversal passages connect with a hollow chamber inside the handle.
