PURPOSE:To distribute the wall thicknesses of a pipe uniformly in the longitudinal direction by making beforehand a pipe thin walled in the vicinity of both ends of compensat for the thickening phenomenum after the drawing and rolling. CONSTITUTION:The pipe which has been fed on the front table by the feeder is transfered to the main part of the drawing apparatus. The end of the pipe is inserted between rollers 14 to roll by rotating a gear 6 of the driving source. When the prescribed wall thining is performed, the rolls 14 are opened and a plug 17 is taken out from a pipe 21 by a cylinder 18 via a mandrel level 16. When the table is reversely turned, the pipe 21 is moved to the transfer from the main part of the drawing apparatus, and the pipe 21 is drawn of its front table by driving the transfer, and moved to the other main part of the drawing apparatus. By likewise operation, the other end of the pipe 21 is rolled and passed to the next stage after the completion of these operations. |
