PURPOSE:To provide an optical device that can match the change in the wavelength of a light source occurring in a change in temp. by holding a 1/4 wavelength plate by means of holders which elongate or contract with a change in temp. CONSTITUTION:In order to match the wavelengths of a laser diode 4 of which the oscillation wavelength changes with temps., and a 1/4 wavelength plate 3, the plate 3 is held inclinedly, and bar-like holders 6 are mounted in the holding parts at noth ends thereof. The holders 6 are supported at one end as cantilever beams and are fixed at a fixing point 7. The holders 6 are made of a material which elongates or contracts with a change in temp., and the angle of inclination of the 1/4 wavelength plate is changed by these so as to match the oscillation wavelength of the diode 4. |
