PURPOSE:To obtain copies inexpensively and quickly in spite of the case when the number of sheets of said copies is small by selecting whether a printing master is to be made or not according to whether the copies from the same original are more or less than the preset number of sheets. CONSTITUTION:It the number of sheets of copies to be obtained from the same original is small, a photoconductive plate 10 is charged each time with an electric charger 4 without making a printing master by securing toner images thereon, and is exposed to be formed with electrostatic latent images which are developed to sensible images by a developing machine 5. The toner images are obtained on transfer paper by using a transfer Corotron 6, and are fixed by a fixing device 9, whereby a copy is obtained. If the number of sheets of the copies to be obtained from the same original is large, copying is carried out by making a printing master as mentioned above. The discrimination of whether the number of sheets of the copies is large or not is accomplished by changing over the same to above or below the preset number of sheets at the time of setting the original to an original platen. |
