PURPOSE:To obtain a mercury vapor discharge lamp having highly effective luminous flux and high color rendering property, by using a terbium, cerium-activated lanthanum phorphor material as a green component. CONSTITUTION:An Eu-activated strontium calcium chloroapatite is used for a blue luminous phosphor material, an Eu-activated yttrium oxide is used for a red luminous phosphor material, and a Tb, Ce-activated lanthanum phosphate is used for a green luminous material, respectively. These three sorts of phorphor, in the ratio of, respectively, the blue component 16-28%, the green component 35-49%, the red component 26-38%, are mixed to make a mixture at the vicinity of a color temperature 5,000 deg.K. By using the former mixture, a three-wave length system fluorescent lamp which is so excellent as to satisfy both the flux and the color rendering property can be manufactured. |
